Dear Rudy: 3 Month Old

 

At 3 months, you charm anyone who has the pleasure of holding you. So many times a day we meet eyes, you smile with your whole face, scrunch up your whole self in delight and slowly bat those big baby blues. You melt my heart each time. :) Recently Mom took you to a girl's night birthday dinner and the Birthday girl wanted to hold you all dinner long. Even in the morning when you wake fussy and hungry, you crack a huge delighted grin when I come to pick you up.

3 things that happened on your three month mark, almost to the day:

1.
You found your feet. For a whole week you studied them and it was quite magical the day you discovered you could grab them and play! Yaaay, feet!

2.
You chuckled! Like the belly,-oh-I-can't-breathe kind of chuckle. Brought on by tickeling your thighs and chest at the same time. A-dorable... and so very contagious.

3.
You and Logan had your first real-deal interaction. The other night at storytime Logan discovered that when he puts a toy near your mouth your whole top half shakes and you attack it with enthusiasm. Logan laughed so hard at how you "eat things like a monster" and you were loving the attention:) Got your mama thinking about all the future giggles you two will share.

You continue to hate binkies and bottles... and your carseat is your nemesis.
For weeks now you have been sleeping from 10 pm - 4:30 am.
You "talk" to us all day long, even in the middle of cries.
Mommy is loving having a baby with a little chub on him. You are much more round than Logan ever was.
 

Aaaaaand we LOVE that we've had 3 months of you!
